1942 Carter Townshopper MICRO car. Extremely RARE. Only a small amount were made in San Diego CA. during WW2 by Carter manufacturing. About the size of a 4x8 ft. of plywood. Electric start 7.5 Gladden flat head engine. Forward/reverse gearbox with centrifugal belt and chain drive. Has original serial and model number as well as the manufacturer brass tag under the hood. Runs out at around 25mph. Remarkable condition. Everything works but the wipers.. Fully street legal with clear title and current 2013 registration. Car is an absolute show stopper. Get's alot of attention wherever you take it. Research finds this is the only one left in existance. GREAT Investment and a joy to drive. Since these pictures black seats were installed as well as backlights and bumper rails.
